Home Care Aide (Part-Time)

About the Role

CAYV Cares is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Care Aide to join our growing care team. You’ll provide thoughtful, individualized support to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home.

Our clients include older adults and individuals living with Alzheimer’s, vision or hearing impairment, or other care needs. This is a meaningful role for someone who believes that care is more than a job — it’s a calling.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, hands-on care such as assistance with bathing, dressing, and daily hygiene

Support clients with mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support

Monitor and report any changes in a client’s condition or behavior

Follow individualized care plans and communicate updates promptly

Encourage independence while maintaining safety and dignity

Provide basic health-related support such as medication reminders (no medical license required)

Qualifications

Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or related settings preferred

Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor

Strong communication and observation skills

Ability to handle light physical activity (lifting, standing, or assisting clients as needed)

Reliable transportation to and from client homes
