Physician - Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Position Overview

Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana is searching for a BC / BE Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist with sub‑fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or experience with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia.

The successful candidate will join a team of three Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology faculty members and provide anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, including heart transplant and ventricular assist device cases.

Qualifications

• Board‑eligible or Board‑certified Pediatric Anesthesiology (BC / BE)
• Sub‑fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia or equivalent experience
• Experience with congenital cardiac pathology, palliative repairs, and complex cardiac procedures
• Ability to cover 100% pediatric practice; adult cases available if desired
