Description
Join our team as a skilled Registered Nurse who is dedicated to providing exceptional care in rapid response situations. In this role, you will practice independently within a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. You will be responsible for delivering both routine and complex care, focused on long-term goals and contingency management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Exhibit the core competencies of OneCHRISTUS, serving as a Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Deliver nursing care based on the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, applying the nursing process : assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, adapting to their specific care levels.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols, and monitor for potential side effects and treatment effectiveness.
- Document critical patient information, including history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Evaluate the learning needs of patients and their families or caregivers, offering education and identifying resources to enhance understanding.
Education / Skills :
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience :
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications :
BLS certification is required.Active RN License in the state of employment or multi-state compact license.Work Schedule :
PRN – Work as needed to support varied nursing requirements.
