Your Responsibilities as an Autism Support Specialist :

  • Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy , helping children with Autism achieve their full potential by following treatment plans, collecting data, and implementing feedback from supervisors.
  • Engage children in fun therapeutic activities tailored for early childhood development.
  • Collaborate with a team to optimize safety and create a joyful environment for both staff and children.
  • Interact with children through play, movement, and imitation to foster an energetic and engaging atmosphere.
  • Communicate positively with team members, families, and supervisors to coordinate therapy activities and celebrate outcomes.

Job Requirements :

  • Physical stamina : Able to lift and move children up to 30 lbs., bend, squat, and engage in fast-paced activities.
  • Maintain an organized therapy environment that stimulates children’s interest and fosters safety.
  • Multitasking skills : Balance various activities and prioritization in a dynamic setting.
  • Team player : Able to work cohesively within a center and support nearby locations as necessary.
  • Reliable transport and valid driver's license are required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years and a High School diploma or GED is necessary.
  • You will complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment by passing the 40-hour training and the board's exam.
