Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Acute Walk-In Clinic

Elko, NV | Contract (Sept 2025 – March 2026)

Are you a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in a supportive clinic environment? Join our team at Premise Health, providing care at Golden Health’s onsite employer clinic in Elko, Nevada.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a fast-paced acute walk-in setting, delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages while enjoying a balanced 4-day work week.

Position Details

Location : Golden Health Employer Clinic, Elko, NV

Contract Length : September 8, 2025 – March 29, 2026 (30 weeks)

Schedule :

4x10 rotating shifts : Mon–Thu / Tue–Fri, 8 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

2 scheduled weekends per month : Sat–Sun, 8 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM

EMR : EPIC

Responsibilities

Provide acute, episodic and urgent care to patients of all ages (newborn through adults)

Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care within scope of practice

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment

Work efficiently in a walk-in / acute care model

Qualifications

Current and active Nevada Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (required)

Experience in acute care or walk-in / urgent care (required)

Ability to manage and treat patients across the lifespan

Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
