Base pay range

$50.00 / hr - $65.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Root Cause Investigations for customer-related non-conformances for machined components
  • Develop and maintain a corrective action follow-up plan, including maintenance and tracking of effectiveness
  • Effectively communicate on customer calls, providing updates on investigations, corrective action plans, and the status of the effectiveness check
  • Monitor and evaluate process indicators such as yield, takt time, and throughput during validation
  • Document findings and provide feedback / recommendations for corrective actions or improvements
  • Collaborate with the on-site team regarding the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions, and review internal processes to determine if other areas of the business would benefit from these corrective actions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • 35+ years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) or Quality Engineering experience, preferably with exposure to aerospace and automotive industries
  • Hands-on experience with Root Cause Investigation, Corrective Action Implementation, and Effectiveness Checks
  • Familiarity with process performance metrics (yield, takt time, throughput)
  • Ability to interpret and apply manufacturing standards and quality requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and supplier engagement
  • Continuous improvement mindset with demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement sustainable controls

    Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Mileage reimbursement at the US government rate ($0.70 per mile driven). Untaxed.
