We are seeking a

• Board-Certified Anesthesiologist
• to join our collaborative team providing anesthesia services for outpatient GI procedures. This position offers what many professionals in your field desire most :
• a four-day work week
• (Tuesday through Friday) with
• no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
• You'll work in our modern, well-equipped facilities with established procedural workflows and a supportive clinical team.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide monitored anesthesia care (MAC) or moderate sedation for GI endoscopy procedures in an outpatient setting
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia assessments to ensure patients are optimized for safe sedation
• Work collaboratively with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and procedural teams to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to anesthesia delivery
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Serve as a key clinical resource for procedural sedation protocols and patient safety
• Qualifications :
• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (required)
• Current New York State medical license or eligibility
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience preferred
• Experience with outpatient or GI anesthesia a plus but not required
