Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Navy Reserve CRNAs are advanced practice nurses who administer anesthesia in various settings, ranging from military hospitals to ships and field units. Their role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care, ensuring patient safety and recovery. Reserve CRNAs also train medical personnel, support global readiness and humanitarian missions, and may hold leadership positions.
