Epsilon Systems Solutions is currently seeking a full time Senior SME : Assessment Director in San Diego, CA.

The Assessment Director acts as a liaison between Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), Type Commander (TYCOM) Maintenance Staffs, Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) and other CMP stakeholders. Will provide troubleshooting, repair, assessment, and testing of US Navy ships' propulsion shafting and Main Reduction Gear (MRG).

Roles And Responsibilities :

• Assessment Directors serve as the RMC Enterprise Project Team Position Specific SME. As such they lead the delivery of CNRMC WFD PT Specific courses IAW developed curriculum across the RMC Enterprise as required by the CNRMC WFD LRTP. Lead instructors are expected to adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs using a variety of instructional strategies to meet different learning styles.
• Manage the execution of assessment visits and CMP assessment events.
• Provide management of Government engineers and technicians, military personnel, contractors, data entry personnel, and logisticians in support of assessment visits.
• Augment / assist the Project Team in CMP assessment accomplishment, scheduling, and coordination.
• Update the Project Team on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects and tasks, and ensure all team members are aware of and participate in planning for achievement of team goals and objectives.
• Manage dedicated Visit Support Team (VST) performing logistics validation, data entry, and data collection support functions.
• Utilize data provided by the Fleet Technical Assist (RMC or Warfare Center) personnel to assist the Maintenance Team in documenting, completing, and closing CMP assessment requirements.
• Develop root cause analysis and recommended action reports.
• Act as an advisor to other commands and ships on matters pertaining to ship availability advance planning, assessments, and program management techniques including operation, test, repair, and maintenance engineering.
• Oversees execution of assessments in preparation for deployment.

Required Qualifications :

The pay range for this role is $32.30 to $35.00 Per Hour. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
