We are seeking a motivated and skilled General Dentist emphasizing Dental Hygiene Services to join our team on a part-time basis. This role primarily focuses on preventive care and dental hygiene while also performing simple restorative procedures. Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Preventive Care : Conduct dental cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive procedures to enhance patients' oral health.
  • Simple Restoratives : Perform basic restorative procedures, including fillings and minor cosmetic enhancements.
  • Patient Education : Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene techniques, preventive strategies, and overall dental health maintenance.
  • Clinical Services : Diagnose and manage dental conditions related to hygiene, including periodontal disease.
  • Treatment Planning : Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on preventive care and minimal intervention.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with dental hygienists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records compliant with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene and preventive care through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education : Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Licensure : Valid and unrestricted dental license to practice in New York.
  • Proficient in performing dental hygiene procedures and simple restorative treatments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and engage patients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and clinical abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to maintaining high standards of practice.
