Job Summary and Qualifications
Assists with federal / state / international income tax research, tax audits, tax planning models, and related financial statement items. The tax department is comprised of approximately 65 people and is divided into three main areas : compliance, research & consulting, and indirect tax. This position will be working with the Research & Consulting area. General responsibilities include assisting with information gathering for federal / state income tax audits, analyzing taxing authority notices, assisting with miscellaneous federal, state and international projects, assisting with various federal, state and international income tax research projects, and assisting with original and / or amended federal / state income / franchise tax returns and / or apportionment computations.
Qualifications include being currently enrolled in and pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or JD degree, CPA eligibility is not required but is preferred, ability to work in-person part-time during the Spring semester and / or full-time in the Summer depending on the internship timeframe, GPA 3.5+ (preferred), and minimum of Junior Status (preferred).
