Job descriptionMinimum 5 years of experience in a progressive manufacturing environment, 4-year degree preferred in Business Management or Engineering, experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry (or similar). Demonstrate the ability to operate in a regulated industry with working knowledge of ISO and regulatory restrictions. Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating / evolving advance planning systems such as Adexa, JDA, SAP 09, Kinaxis, AS400, or Oracle. Advanced MS Office skills, knowledge of VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, macro recordings, data tables, charting, data sorting, segregation, and formula auditing. Present ideas effectively in formal and informal situations. Conveys thoughts clearly and concisely. Ability to respond to detailed inquiries and present information to groups and senior management. Manage department customization transaction T-code enhancements for business needs. Ability to communicate in a succinct and organized manner, appropriate for context, time, and place. Advanced SAP / ERP experience, troubleshooting IT issues that surface with little to no assistance from business applications. Ability to perform with greater autonomy and judgment, receiving general supervision from senior management. Highly data-based : critical thinker; proven data aptitude and attention to detail. Due to the speed and rate of change occurring in this manufacturing environment, one must be able to problem solve and think autonomously, remain Flexible, adjustable and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization. Exposure to low-volume, high complexity capital equipment or high volume, low complexity products. Flexible : adjustable and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Motivated : energetic; aims for excellence; continually seeks to improve self and company; ability and proven desire to grow with the company; manages by example. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully. APICS & Six Sigma certifications are a plus. Job Type : Contract Pay Rate : $40-$48 an hour. Location : Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite).
Description :
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, and / or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
- Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.
- Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
- Master Scheduler : Provides input to management; schedules and / or interfaces with marketing, sales, production, and engineering managers.
- Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Oversee the master schedules and ensure comprehensive compliance with materials required.
