Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Day Shift PRN

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA and we are in search of a  Registered Nurse.   ​The RN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of Medical and Surgical patients and for correlating the nursing process and the medical plan of care in accordance with the hospital policy / procedures, philosophy, goals and mission in the Surgical Unit . The work is performed in compliance with the established policies of the health care system and reflects the philosophy of the hospital as well as the mission of the department of nursing.

• Provides direct and indirect patient care.
• Assesses patient’s physical and psychosocial condition appropriately.
• Communicates with physicians / Nurse Manager / co-workers as appropriate regarding changes in patient’s clinical

condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

EDUCATION : Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing , diploma, ASN, or BSN

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS :

Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Georgia

Current CPR

PALS Preferred

ACLS Preferred

EXPERIENCE : One year of acute hospital experience preferred.
