Job descriptionServe as Medical Director, overseeing both clinical and administrative operations Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting Supervise Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare staff Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards Foster effective teamwork and collaboration among clinical teams Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support staff development Board Certification in Family Medicine required Active Alaska medical license required Previous experience in an Indian Health Service (IHS) setting preferred Must have prior supervisory experience with Advanced Practice Providers Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Our experienced recruiting team conducts thorough interviews and reference checks to ensure that we have the best network of locum tenens physicians, dentists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the industry - ready to go when you are.
