QSAC is seeking dedicated and energetic staff looking to work with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, who will provide direct instruction. We are hiring for certified Special Education Teachers, Speech Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapist Assistants.
QSAC will be hosting an in person event with Hiring Managers that will give you the opportunity to receive employment decisions the same day. It will take place on 11.7.25 from 9 : 30 am to 2 : 00 pm at our Bronx School.
Special Education Teacher : Special Education Teachers require NY State certification (Students with Disabilities, B-2, 1-6, or All Grades). Teaching responsibilities include implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP), classroom management, participation in annual meetings, and completion of required reports. Extensive training and support are provided with opportunities for professional growth and development. $65,000-$90,000 annually - Commensurate with level of certification, education, experience and ABA credentials (if applicable).
Speech Language Pathologists : Speech Language Pathologists can either be a CF or CCC level. They need to be a NYS Certified Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities (TSSLD) to provide speech and language therapy to assess and treat speech, language, and social communication disorders in children and young adults with autism spectrum disorder. $65,000-$90,000 annually (Commensurate with level of certification, education, experience and ABA credentials, if applicable).
Physical Therapist Assistants : Physical Therapist Assistants require a PTA license to practice in New York State. They will provide treatment and develop, improve and evaluate opportunities for active participation in work, leisure, and play for the students we support . $65,000-$75,000 annually - Commensurate with level of certification, education, experience and ABA credentials (if applicable).
Regular work hours at the Bronx School is from 8 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm Mon - Friday ( 1 / 2 hour lunch). The school operates on a year round schedule (12 months)
