About The Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day locum tenens opportunity in Wyoming beginning Jan 5, 2026. This assignment involves providing a full scope of urgent and outpatient acute care, working at least five days per week with day shifts from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm. The clinic is open seven days a week, and providers are expected to independently manage comprehensive patient assessments under physician supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Independently perform head-to-toe patient assessments in an urgent care and outpatient acute care setting
  • Manage a full scope of urgent care cases, addressing a wide range of acute presentations
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians as needed while maintaining autonomy in clinical decision-making
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient encounters
  • Additional Information

  • Wyoming license required
  • ER and wound care experience preferred but not required
  • ATLS and NRP certifications preferred but not required
  • Minimum commitment of 5 days per week
