As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a retail or mall location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct regular patrols, interact positively with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution and reporting as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

Observe entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter theft and / or other prohibited activity.

Document incidents and observations clearly and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific protocols.

Collaborate with retail staff and management to address potential issues or concerns within the location.

Assist with visitor and contractor access control, following established procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

A valid guard card and / or security-related license is preferred, subject to state and / or local laws.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
