Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and professional Heart Program Structural Coordinator to become part of our team. The position is responsible for coordinating patient care and evaluation. The position is responsible for coordinating patient care and evaluation, align resources to support program initiatives, program development, develop and maintain relationships with internal and external referring physicians, and development of a program database

What you will do in this role :

  • You will implement and ensure best practices for all clinic protocols, practices, procedures and policies' meets all regulatory and compliance guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for all patients.
  • You will serve as a clinical resource for structural heart / valve patients; coordinate diagnostic studies and / or clinical interventions when appropriate, as well as measure patient-specific and aggregate outcomes; track new technology trends, research findings, treatment models, etc.
  • You will incorporate new technologies, treatments and research into clinical practice. You will track and analyze physicians' practices, referral patterns and market data.
  • You will recommend initiatives in response to community need and growth opportunities.
  • You will work with physician leader(s) and advanced practice provider to prepare clinical in-services, CME courses, marketing and collateral materials to create program awareness and understanding.
  • You will routinely review and ensure patient and referring physician education and collateral materials are current, coordinated, available and effective.

    • What qualifications you will need :

  • State of Florida Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS Healthcare provider required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • A graduate of NLN School of nursing required.
  • A minimum of two years' experience with one year experience in cardiology, preferably heart failure, valvular disease or critical care preferred.
  • Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Computer skills needed.
  • Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care.
