Job description

Job Overview

  • .NET Web Developer - Family Owned Company 75+ Years

Location : Barberton, OH

Type of position : full-time (40 hours per week) with eligibility for overtime pay, vacation, 401k (4% with 100% company match), and medical benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Write quality code using .NET programming languages
  • Review and update existing code to verify adherence to guidelines
  • Collaborate with other software professionals and developers to facilitate the development of large projects
  • Create and test software prototypes
  • Develop client displays and user interfaces that are visually appealing, user friendly, and engaging
  • Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements
  • Review with target users to verify usage and develop additional improvements as informed by user feedback
  • Become familiar with advances in .NET programming languages, up-to-date with the latest releases
  • Excited to grow in programming role and learn new tools and languages as needed

    • Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design / architectural patterns with a focus on Model-View-Controller (MVC)
  • Degree in web design, software engineering or similar
  • 5 years of development experience using C# .NET
  • Familiar with SQL
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and innovative
