Position Highlights :
- Competitive pay range of $18.47-$22.62, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for highly experienced candidates to earn above this range.

What You'll Do :
Answer phones, address non-professional inquiries, and efficiently transfer calls to the appropriate team members.Input patient data and billing information accurately into our system, including vital details like patient names, insurance, allergies, physicians, and diagnoses.Deliver prescriptions to patients, ensuring the correct medication is provided, and collect payments with signatures.Coordinate prescription counseling sessions with a pharmacist as necessary.Monitor inventory levels, place orders for restocking based on predefined minimums, and verify received shipments against invoices.Check expiration dates for all medications in stock and manage returns or discards of uncollected prescriptions in accordance with state regulations.Process prescription refills, ensuring compliance with state regulatory requirements.Complete third-party billing forms and liaise with providers for prior authorizations as required by state regulations.Fulfill clinical responsibilities while adhering to standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements.Undertake other duties as assigned to support our pharmacy operations.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.At least one year of experience in pharmacy assistance, office administration, patient care, or customer service.Must obtain Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employment, or hold an active Pharmacy Intern License.Bilingual in English and Spanish, demonstrating a communication proficiency at level 9 on the ALTA scale.Successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug screening after a conditional offer of employment is made.Strong verbal and listening communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.Familiarity with medical terminology is important.Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks with close attention to detail are essential.Basic proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office, is preferred.Experience with any pharmacy software systems is a plus.Our Mission Statement :
