L2 Data Center Technician - Days

A side Days : Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, & Every other Wednesday 6a - 6p

Job Brief : We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Data Center Technician to join our IT team. The Level 2 Data Center Technician’s responsibilities include maintaining the data center’s IT system, troubleshooting issues, performing server installations, and ensuring uninterrupted access to network services. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and data center operations. Familiarity with server installations, network updates, break-fix tasks, and GPU deployment is also required.

Responsibilities :

• Perform tasks listed under Level 1 as needed.

o Move servers and switches to required destinations for installation.

o Inspect servers and switches to ensure they are not damaged.

o Install servers and switches and cable them according to provided wire maps.

o Ensure all cables are bundled neatly and in accordance with standards.

o Double-check with network admins to ensure everything is cabled correctly and all connections are up.

o Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory).

o Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed.

o Audit servers and consumables.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00 / hr.
