Job description

Are you an Occupational Therapist who finds purpose in helping others live with dignity, independence, and joy? An established, mission-driven healthcare organization in Gloucester, VA is seeking a compassionate and skilled OT to join its close-knit team in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting.

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities :

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote mobility, safety, and independence.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training for daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with nurses, rehab professionals, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic outcomes.
  • Participate in care planning, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Occupational Therapist Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Virginia OT License and NBCOT Certification (required or eligible).
  • CPR / BLS Certification (required).
  • 1+ year of OT experience preferredbut new graduates with passion and professionalism are welcome!
