Psychiatric Assessment & Clinical Care
Complete psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and mental status examsAssess risk, including suicide, homicide, and safety concernsScreen for substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions Psychopharmacology
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medicationsMonitor progress, side effects, adherence, and therapeutic response Psychotherapeutic Interventions
Provide supportive therapy and evidence-based interventions (CBT, DBT, crisis stabilization)Offer psychoeducation to patients and families Integrated Care & Collaboration
Partner with primary care, behavioral health, and social work teamsCoordinate referrals for therapy, substance use services, or specialty careAdvocate for patient needs across systems Professional Practice
Uphold HIPAA, ethical standards, and state / federal regulationsParticipate in quality improvement and compliance activitiesMaintain thorough, timely documentation in the EMR ⭐ Required Qualifications – MUST Have
