Job description

Windows Server Engineering Active Directory Administration VMWare / vCenter Administration Experience 10+ years experience in large Enterprise environments with thousands of users and hundreds of servers and critical Enterprise Applications.

Strong understanding of overall IT Infrastructure concepts including data center, compute, storage, networking, security, identity, DR, HA, etc.

Extensive administration of on-premises Active Directory.

Expert level knowledge of AD concepts and objects including Forest, Site, Domain, Trust, OU, GPO.

Powershell experience, creating and modifying custom scripts to report and perform bulk actions on AD objects, systems, and integrated technologies.

Expert level technical knowledge and administration experience of Windows Server 2008 - 2019.

Extensive hands-on experience with VMware, vSphere, and vCenter design, administration, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Windows Server authentication methods and integration of 3rd party applications (ADFS, LDAP, SAML, Kerberos) Strong capabilities with MS Office / 365 tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Teams, etc.

O365 integration with on-premise AD.   Role and Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory leveraging scripts and automation wherever applicable.
  • Administration and management of Windows Servers through full life-cycle.
  • Administration and capacity planning of VMware multi-cluster environment.
  • Supporting and adhering to change management process.
  • Perform scripting of administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell.
  • Develop scripts for automating processes within the environment.
  • Collaboration with network, InfoSec, storage, data center, vendors, and other stakeholders in support of the running environment and project initiatives.
  • Participation in triage and troubleshooting for all responsible technologies.
