We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a retail clinic setting. The role involves independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing health concerns for patients aged 18 months and older. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care while documenting all interactions in an electronic health record system. Reporting directly to the Senior Practice Manager, the Nurse Practitioner will focus on providing holistic, evidence-based healthcare and maintaining a high standard of patient engagement and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
1 . Patient-Centered Care & Quality :
- Evaluate, treat, and manage health conditions for patients aged 18 months and above.
- Provide health counseling and educate patients on preventive care.
- Document care accurately using electronic health records.
- Collaborate with internal and external healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and evidence-based guidelines.
2. Customer Service Excellence :
Deliver exceptional patient experiences through effective communication and a welcoming clinic environment.Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.Actively seek feedback to improve patient engagement and clinic services.3. Clinic & Healthcare Environment Management :
Manage multiple priorities including patient care, clinic operations, and administrative tasks.Maintain positive relationships with team members and retail partners.Resolve conflicts efficiently using appropriate management techniques.Adapt quickly to new care models and enhance operational effectiveness.4. Work independently with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Stay current on medical best practices through continued professional education.Actively participate in professional groups and organizational committees.Qualifications :
Education :Completion of a Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification OR
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with a Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and current National Board Certification.Licensure :Active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of employment.
Must have an unrestricted license in two states and be eligible for multi-state / compact privileges as required.Experience :Minimum of 2 years of medically relevant experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Technical Requirements :High-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 3 Mbps.
Ability to manage virtual care platforms as needed.Additional Information :
