What You'll Do
The Warehouse Lead will oversee and guide a team of Material Handlers to ensure the efficient layout, organization, and sustainment of our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for coordinating daily activities related to stocking, picking, and staging materials to support both production and customer order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership :
Lead, train, and motivate a team of Material Handlers to meet daily operational goalsMonitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure high productivity and accuracyWarehouse Layout & Organization :
Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to optimize space utilization and workflowEnsure all materials are stored in designated locations and clearly labeledSustainment & Continuous Improvement :
Implement and enforce 5S and other lean warehouse practices to maintain a clean and organized environmentIdentify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse processesMaterial Handling Operations :
Oversee the accurate stocking of goodsEnsure timely and accurate picking of components for production and customer ordersCoordinate staging of picked items for shipping and ensure proper documentationCross-Functional Support :
Collaborate with Production, Receiving, and Shipping teams to ensure seamless material flowCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and support operational needsAdditional duties as required
Requirements : Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership roleStrong understanding of warehouse layout principles, inventory management, and material handlingProficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skillsExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 30lbs and operate forklifts, overhead crane and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and qualityPreferred Attributes
Experience in a manufacturing or assembly support environmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologyCondux International is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
