• Mix IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques.
• Adhere to all documented instructions, warnings, and procedures to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.
• Perform environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing and other activities as required by federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797.
• Maintain accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting and tracking drug items.
• Enter home medication list and lab results into CPR+ for patient's profile.
• Clean ante-room and clean room according to USP-797 standards and maintain clean room logs.
• Verify lot numbers and perform periodic inventory checks.
• Assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.
• Complete competency verification plan upon hire and annually thereafter.
• Understand and comply with confidentiality regarding proprietary information and patient / client care, following HIPAA guidelines.
• PTCB
• State registration as a pharmacy technician
• Experience in home infusion therapy preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Articulate communication skills
• Computer proficiency (Windows, Office)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
