LPN Full Time Nights
Required : NY LPN Licensure, BLS (cert through AHA or RQI specifically)
1 year experience as LPN,
weekends / Holiday required
The LPN must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by adult and geriatric patient group
Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents. Follows defined policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff. Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education and in-service programs. The LPN shall have the ability to provide care to geriatric residents.
Job Duties
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve a potential contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues.
