Pharmacist Job at Hospital in San Francisco, CA

Looking for an ASAP start

Position : Clinical Pharmacist

Schedule :

Variable days / afternoon rotation. 8 hour shifts.

(1st shift starts at 6 am; 2nd shift starts at 2 : 00 pm).

Every third weekend.

Setting :

Acute Care. This hospital is part of large integrated healthcare system.

Technology : EPIC, Pyxis

Duties :

• Order verification, making remendations for clinical interventions
• Pharmacokinetic dosing; making dosage adjustments based on lab values.
• Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication therapies
• Oversight of support staff
• Role will be split between central pharmacy and satellite pharmacies
• Attending Codes
• Rounding with physicans and nurses.
• Other duties as required
