Job Summary :
Perform analysis of monthly and annual financial results at Company, State, department and / or project level. Prepare easily digestible reporting for project managers, department heads, and Management, as well as respond to questions. Evaluate and analyze budget to actual, key performance indicators and other underlying operational data, to identify potential areas for improvement or additional analysis, or for highlighting to relevant personnel. Improve reporting, data analysis, workflow, or procedures, or all of the above as needed during performance of duties. In addition, assist in the filing of regulatory submissions to FCC or other government / regulatory agencies as determined by CFO or VP of Finance. This role will work directly with CFO, VP of Finance, and Controller for these job functions.
Essential Functions :

- Assist in production of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reporting including budget to actual analysis
- Perform research regarding budget to actual variances
- Assist in creation of State, department, and project budgets
- Prepare analysis of performance indicators, as needed
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in sometimes complex data sets. Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Prepare, update, and distribute PowerBI reports containing financial information in above bullets as applicable
- Assist in the filing of FCC filings, State and Regulatory filings as needed
- Assist in the filing of State sales tax filings, use tax, and rebates
- Assist with government grant submissions, applications, audits, and data accumulation
- Assist the External and Government Affairs team in the processing and obtaining of budget to actual project cost tracking
- Provide supporting documentation for audits, as needed
- Update projects in ERP and other systems on a weekly minimum basis
- Maintain accurate historical records
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
- Performs special projects as needed and other duties as requested by supervisor
- Assist with developing data visualizations and presentations for internal and external audiences, including graphs, tables, dashboards, etc. drawing on programmatic and secondary data sources
- Assist in the updating of lease tracking software
- Provide coaching to department heads on understanding data, budget, and financial reports to progress towards their goals
- Assist in coding and approving of credit card transactions
