Position Summary :
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Divert’s Maintenance Technicians play a pivotal role as they drive operational efficiencies while championing our safety and culture initiatives. Our Maintenance Technicians work in our Integrated Food Processing and Renewable Natural Gas facilities, utilizing cutting edge technology to solve the food waste crisis.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety regulations and policies including but not limited to PPEs, gas monitoring devices, LOTO, Fall Prevention, Confined Space, Hot Work, and more.
Conducts daily plant walkthroughs for safety, equipment inspections, and review of the HMI / controls for operational parameters
Completes PM and maintenance schedule on time on numerous types of equipment including but not limited to electromechanical equipment, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic power units, various presses, compressors, blowers, augers, pumps, heat exchangers, pressurized vessels and systems, fluid tanks, filtering and scrubbing vessels.
Troubleshoots and repairs processing equipment, anaerobic digestion equipment, waste water treatment equipment, and RNG purification equipment
Coordinates and communicates downtime of equipment for planned maintenance operations with the Site Leadership Team
Documents all maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System
Assists in inventory management for spare parts and equipment for the site
Understands and drives maintenance activities to optimize key performance indicators
Coordinates and supervises 3rd party contractors as needed to execute maintenance operations
Serves as the Electrical Subject Matter Expert for troubleshooting, safety, and escalation to vendor support.
Operates powered industrial vehicles (PIV’s) to include but not limited to forklifts, scissor lifts, front end loaders, and aerial platform lifts
Other duties as assigned include supplementing Process manpower at the appropriate level of training per the skills matrix.

Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs frequently
Must be able to bend, stand, walk, sit, kneel frequently
Is comfortable operating equipment and repetitive tasks throughout their shift
Is able to handle potential changes in temperature on site, humidity and wetness in working areas
Minimum Education and Experience
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Current LME certification is preferred.
2-3 years minimum Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance.
2-year technical degree, associate’s degree in a relevant field, or military background is a plus
1-3 years in a Leadership role is a plus
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication in English
Basic computer proficiency and mathematical skills
Ability to read, edit, and create P&ID’s, and schematic diagrams.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Technical aptitude and ability to think critically
Willing to work overtime
