Job Description Summary

Reporting directly to the AVP, Finance Solutions, the Director Finance, Solutions will be responsible for overseeing a finance team of approximately 4 employees, which are responsible for providing critical business support to the Enterprise Solutions Division. The Solutions Division provides community development organizations with funding, programs and technical assistance, and advances housing policy at every level of government. The Solution division is divided among Programs, Policy, and Advisory verticals and is funded by a combination of public financing (federal and state / local), private philanthropy (foundations, corporations, and family offices) and by Enterprise itself.

The Director will oversee the management of philanthropic, federal, contractual and Enterprise resources to fund a diverse portfolio of programs for a majority of the key cost centers / markets. This position will be responsible for ensuring that proper systems are in place for financial accounting, billing and reporting to internal reporting requirements. This role will engage directly with the AVP, Finance Solutions and participate in providing support to the President of the Solutions Division, the Senior Vice Presidents of the Solutions Divisions, the Enterprise Deputy Chief Financial Officer and other shared services and solutions staff to execute on the Solutions strategies and provide fiduciary oversight to safeguard the assets of Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

The Director, Finance Solutions will work closely with AVP, Solutions Finance and the President of the Solutions Division, along with SVPs of the Solutions Division, as well as cross-functional departments and other key shared services team leads. The successful candidate will have strong non-profit and government contracting experience and will be able to manage the financial systems, processes, and controls for the Enterprise Solutions finance team. Specific responsibilities will include :

Financial and Operational Management

• Prepare monthly Solutions Division financial statement reporting and analyses and ensure the accuracy to support decision making by the Solutions Finance leader and Solutions president.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process through comprehensive data analysis and reporting for the Solution Division.
• Oversee approximately 14 cost centers / markets, which includes management of awards / contracts, billing, monthly financial statements, funder reporting and budgeting / forecasting.

Maintain monthly close process for the Solutions Finance team and ensure close timelines are achieved.

The ideal candidate for the Director, Finance Solutions will be a seasoned and mature leader with at least 10 years of strong non-profit and government contracting experience and will be able to manage the financial systems, processes, and controls for the Enterprise Solutions finance team.

The base salary for this role is $150,000 to $160,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance.
