First-time travelers accepted.

ACLS and BLS certifications required.

NIHSS certification required.

Cerner charting system preferred.

Floating is required.

Every other weekend requirement.

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse with experience in a progressive care unit.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 5-6.

Daily responsibilities will include administering medications, managing patient care, and monitoring vital signs.

The nurse is expected to perform various skills such as IV management, telemetry monitoring, and wound care.

The role involves interpreting and responding to dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.

The nurse will also assist with care protocols, including chemotherapy administration and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Candidates must be willing to float to other units as necessary.

All COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
