We are currently seeking a Hospice Regional Admissions Coordinator in the San Diego area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This person will be covering the San Diego areas.
Shift Schedule : Full Time, AM shift, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Qualifications :
High school diplomaSome college courses related to business administration preferredOne year experience dealing with the public via telephone or in person, preferably in a customer service or inside sales roleThis role requires a valid driver's license and a good driving record as a condition of employment. Associates must comply with all state and federal driving regulationsAssociates in roles requiring driving are responsible for maintaining a valid and active driver's license. Failure to maintain a valid license may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsTyping 50 words per minute, managing records / files, basic computer skills (i.e. Forms, Labels, Excel and Word)Prior hospice or palliative supportive care experience strongly preferredWhat you'll be doing :
Data entry, including keeping all admission tracking logs up to dateOvercomes initial objections to hospice services and palliative and supportive careGeneral admission coordination, including coordinating hospital dischargesManages the insurance verification and authorization processSchedules appropriate staff to meet with patient / families to discuss hospice and supportive care services in a timely mannerParticipate in related meetingsEnsure all intake documents are completed per policyExhibits empathetic communication style with patients, families, and associates, requiring the ability to remain calm and level-headed in emergenciesOther duties as assigned#LI-RB1

$29-$33 USD
