Job Description
An established and growing employer in the recycling sector is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support all aspects of HR operations at our local facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and wants to make an impact.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and HR-related inquiries
- Assist with recruitment efforts, onboarding, and orientation for new hires
- Maintain HRIS systems and employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a liaison with providers
- Support management with performance reviews, corrective action, and policy enforcement
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Coordinate safety initiatives, training programs, and employee engagement activities
- Support payroll processing in coordination with the finance department
