Business Office The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a full-time 12-month Accounts Payable and Transportation Secretary. Rate of pay is $19.44 / hour - $28.84 / hour, depending on experience. This position is responsible for managing the transportation process as well as processing accounts payable for the district. Specific duties include establishing bus routes, communicating with parents / schools / contractors, processing invoices for vendors, verifying invoices and payments for accuracy and preparing reports for review for Board approval. Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree, computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to multi-task and respond to emergency situations, and acceptable record of attendance are required.
