Job description

Are you a board-certified or board-eligible Urology Physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania? A facility near Middleport, PA, is seeking coverage for inpatient urology services.

Position Overview

Schedule :

1-2 weekends per month.

Coverage from Friday 4 : 00 PM through Monday 7 : 00 AM.

Responsibilities :

Handle consultations from the emergency department and hospital.

Perform surgeries in the main OR.

Manage urology-specific cases including gross hematuria, stones, urine retention, and difficult catheter insertions.

Patient Information

Age Range : Adolescents (16+) to geriatrics.

Patient Volume : Average of 2-4 new consults per day.

Requirements

Licenses & Certifications :

Active Pennsylvania medical license.

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Urology.

BLS and ACLS certifications.

DEA and Pennsylvania CSR.

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in general urology care.

Preferred : Familiarity with Epic EMR.

Additional Details

Privileges : Must be secured before start date ( 60 days).

Orientation : 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided.

Vaccination Requirements : Proof of flu vaccine or an approved exemption.

Rates : Competitive hourly and call-back rates.

Travel : Airfare, lodging, and rental car or mileage reimbursement provided.
