StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with the Nation's largest Healthcare System to assist with the recruitment of a Psychiatrist to join the faculty of their established Psychiatry Residency Program. This opportunity is located in the Florida Panhandle and is affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

• Qualifications:
  • Must be board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
  • Receive a faculty appointment through UCF COM.
  • Supervise residents and structured didactics.
  • New grads with interest in teaching welcome.
  • Ability to focus primarily on outpatient only practice with no call or weekday inpatient focus with some weekend coverage.
  • Practice anticipates new physician to ramp-up quickly
  • Behavioral Center is a 14,000 sq. ft., 24-bed inpatient treatment center that treats adults 18 and older who are experiencing acute illnesses and require 24-hour medical care. They are a Baker Act receiving facility that also accepts voluntary and direct admissions.
  • Addiction background or training required.

The hospital you will cover is a fully accredited healthcare facility with more than 1,400 employees and 500 providers. It is a 288-bed, acute-care facility offering 24/7 emergency services. The facility also offers a Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center with PCI Resuscitation, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Orthopedic/Spine Center, physical therapy services, rehabilitation center, stroke center, surgical services, Weight Loss Surgery Center and network-of-care affiliated physician practices.
