Licensed Physical Therapist

Salary: $45-$50 hour

Position: Licensed Physical Therapist

Location: Reno, NV

Type: Full Time or Part Time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient examination and continuing functional evaluations.
• Evaluate patients' physical condition and needs, developing a tailored rehabilitation program based on their unique challenges.
• Supervise and lead PTAs
• Ensure excellent and compliant department documentation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other specialists, to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on patient case management.
• Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan.
  

• Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities.
• Educate patients on exercises they can do at home for faster recovery and long-term health benefits.

Requirements:

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Nevada Physical Therapy license.
• 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a multidisciplinary or clinical setting is preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends or evenings if required.

Salary Range:

$45-$55 an hour Full or Part Time
