Position Description

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves in a hands-on role that keeps things running? As a Maintenance Technician I , you'll perform maintenance and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical, and HVAC systems. You'll help ensure our facility is safe, efficient, and fully functional, making a real impact on the environment for both staff and individuals served.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is action-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys tackling a variety of tasks every day.

What You'll Do

• Inspect facility equipment and systems regularly to identify maintenance needs.
• Service and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, troubleshooting and repairing issues as needed.
• Maintain machinery, fixtures, outlets, wiring, and other equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Complete work orders, including preventive maintenance tasks and responding to after-hours emergencies when on call.
• Document maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent in the work order system.
• Test and calibrate systems to meet safety and performance standards.
• Participate in training to stay current on industry best practices, new technologies, and safety regulations.
