Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at the Covenant Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Wellspring in Saginaw. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors, supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone on campus through high-quality housekeeping and laundry services.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper with Wellspring, you will :

• Follow cleaning schedules in accordance with Standard Precautions, hazardous waste handling, and cleaning agent use policies and procedures.
• Clean assigned areas, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, trash cans, furnishings and fixtures such as furniture, floors, walls, sills, closets and doors, according to established housekeeping procedures.
• Empty wastebaskets in bathrooms, resident rooms and common areas as directed, replacing with a clean plastic bag and one extra bag at the bottom of the wastebasket.
• Clean general common areas, dining spaces, offices and employee areas according to the assignment schedule.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed.
• Note : Tasks marked with an asterisk in the full job description are considered high-risk for exposure to bio-hazardous materials. Standard Precautions must be followed in all job duties.
