LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in West Hollywood, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• Shift : 12 hours, nights

Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract : At least 6 weekend shifts every 6 week period

Years of Experience : 2 year(s)

Note : preferably in teaching hospital / tertiary level Large Facility with 400 beds or larger

ACLS, BLS required, NIHSS preferred

Required skills : IV starts, tele

Preferred skills : PA lines

This unit is a true PCU and need that skill level

Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline) : Required - No Exemptions

Float Required : Yes Note :  MS / Tele / PCU

Charting System : Required, Epic

Travel Experience Required : Yes

Note : Please screen first time travelers and if less than 2 years and has 18 months strong exp screen

First time travelers accepted : Yes with 3 years of experience

TR Bands

Chest Tubes

Gtts Milrinone, Dopamine, dobutamine

Pulmonary Hypertension Therapy,

Presence of moderate to high risk for dysrhythmias

Use of invasive hemodynamic devices

Patients requiring ongoing interventions and assessments every 2 hours, not to

exceed 8 occurrences

Special equipment : Swan Ganz

Transve

RTO : No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays (thanksgiving, christmas eve / day, new years eve / day)

EKG Exam administered first day of orientation - must pass in order to move forward with contract
