Job description

Manager, Product Management

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. As a Manager, Product Management on the Endpoints Product team, you will be at the heart of shaping the associate technology experience from their very first day. You will initially own the product strategy for our "Software Shop," a new internal platform that provides 70,000+ associates with the critical applications and tools they need to do their best work. Your mission is to transform it from a requisition tool into a predictive, intelligent engine that eliminates friction for users and approvers, proactively anticipates associate needs, and empowers our workforce. Imagine a new software developer joining and having the exact right tools 'pushed' to them on day one, empowering them to be immediately productive instead of waiting for access. The ideal candidate is obsessed with creating frictionless user experiences and is energized by the challenge of improving how their colleagues work. You are a data-driven, strategic thinker who can define and measure success through clear KPIs, and are skilled at building alignment with a diverse set of stakeholders across technology, security, and business lines. This role offers a significant growth path. Success in revolutionizing the Software Shop will lead to owning the broader employee onboarding technology strategy, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience that minimizes time-to-first-productivity for the tens of thousands of associates we onboard annually.
