Start Date : ASAP Shift : MondayFriday, 08 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM No call, no scheduled weekend shifts

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Interventional Radiology RN to join our dynamic team at South Sacramento Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care throughout the IR procedure process, including pre-procedure preparation, intraprocedural support, and post-procedure recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure patient assessment and preparation
• Intraprocedural support including medication administration and documentation
• Post-procedure recovery and patient teaching
• Safe transport of patients within the facility
• Accurate and timely documentation of care
• Floating to Roseville IR department or South Sacramento Cath Lab if experienced

Qualifications

The RN Interventional Radiology is responsible for patient care during the entire process, including the initial assessment, the plan of care, administering medication, checking for lab results, and reviewing the patient's medical history.
