The Dietitian will work closely with medical staff, nursing teams, and families to provide expert nutrition care to pediatric patients across various units.

Job Summary : \n\nWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join the Dietary Services team at a leading Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The Dietitian will work closely with medical staff, nursing teams, and families to provide expert nutrition care to pediatric patients across various units.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\nAssess the nutritional needs of pediatric patients and develop individualized care plans.\n\nMonitor patients’ progress and adjust diet plans based on medical conditions and growth requirements.\n\nCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff as part of a multidisciplinary care team.\n\nEducate patients and families on nutrition plans, dietary restrictions, and healthy eating habits.\n\nDocument all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the patient’s medical record.\n\nParticipate in hospital rounds and care conferences as needed.\n\nSupport food service operations to ensure appropriate patient meal selections.\n\nAdhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.\n\nRequirements : \n\nActive Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN) credential\n\nTennessee state license – Required\n\nValid driver’s license – Must be included with submission\n\nMinimum 1 year of recent experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted with recent relevant experience)\n\nPediatrics experience – Required\n\nStrong clinical nutrition knowledge, especially in pediatric care settings\n\nExcellent communication and organizational skills\n\nHospital Highlights : \n\nChildren 's Hospital\n\nLevel I Pediatric Trauma Center\n\nCollaborative and supportive team environment\n\nOpportunity to gain experience in a high-acuity pediatric setting
