Project Manager | Commercial Construction

The Project Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership and ensuring successful execution of commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a proactive leader who values communication, drives accountability, and builds strong relationships with clients and teams alike.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Estimating during preconstruction to develop accurate scopes and budgets

Read, interpret, and apply construction plans and specifications

Provide mentorship and guidance to developing Project Management staff

Foster long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to support ongoing business growth

Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement including scope review, contract development, and compliance requirements

Resolve design conflicts through effective research, coordination, and problem solving

Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, billings, reporting, and other project controls

Ensure accurate monthly billings and work-in-place quantities

Prepare monthly cost projections and forecasts for successful financial outcomes

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules to track progress and performance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred

5+ years of commercial / light industrial project management experience

Strong technical understanding of building systems and construction methods

Proven ability to manage project financials, schedules, and operations independently
