We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic ECE to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities will be:
-Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
-Ensuring the health and safety of children.
-Communicating with parents and staff.
-Working effectively as a member of a team, as well as independently.
-Documenting children's learning.
-Completing accident reports, reports for specialists and daily reports for parents.
-Developing and organizing children's portfolios.
-Delivering parent teacher interviews.
-Maintaining professionalism.
-Keeping the classroom clean and organized.
Required Skills
-Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma. (Must be recognized by the PEI Child Care Facility Board)
-Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
-First Aid and CPR Training
-Active ECDA Membership, or willing to obtain one within the first three months of working.
Required Experience
Previous experience working with children in a structured setting an asset
