As the Project Director for the Executive Pastor of Campuses and Locations,youwillhave a multifaceted role that involves overseeing various aspects of project managementand serving the Executive Pastor as needed.The Project Directorpossessesan above-average administrative skillset (planning, calendaring, budgeting, etc.), is incredibly detailed, a quick-thinker, andanticipatesneeds in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. This role works in partnership withinternal stakeholders of Union Churchto ensure excellence ata high standard and that Union is equipped and prepared while managing all deliverables frominceptionto completion.

ProjectManagement :

  • Develop andmaintainallproject plans,ensuring clear schedules, scopes, and budget estimations.
  • Implement project implementation plans, including risk mitigation strategies, to ensure smooth execution.
  • Coordinate withstaffmembers to ensuretimelyandaccuratecompletion of all project components.
  • Overseetheannualchurchcalendar, the Executive Pastors Calendar,andserves as themanageroftheMonday.com software for Union Church Campuses and Locations.
  • Oversee the effective onboarding of new hires, ensuring they have training schedules, resources, and clear milestones.
  • Facilitate department-wide trainings, milestone celebrations, and team-building events to strengthen team unity.

Event Content Strategist :

  • Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and operational consistency across all of Unions campuses and locations.
  • Team Leadership :

  • Serves as the day-to-day project manager of all teams within the Campuses department, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all components
  • Other Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Volunteer Development, event planning, logistic planning, etc.
  • Data input / Management

  • Overall, your role as Project Director involves not only managing the logistical aspects of projectsbut also fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that reflects the values and mission of Union Church. Your attention to detail, quick thinking, and ability toanticipate needs will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the church's initiatives.

  • Bachelors degree in business, or related field
  • MUST-HAVES

  • High-level communication and relational strengths
  • Ability to make sound, critical decisions under pressure
  • Analytical thinking and solution-oriented
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Management experience
  • Experience working or high-level volunteering for a church / non-profit
  • Proficient in Google Drive Suite
  • ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS

  • Flexible schedule. (Workweek is Sunday-Thursday. Frequent night and weekend availability will be requested)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for 30 minutes.

    Union Church offers a generous compensation package. The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
