About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Construction Manager to take charge of our current and upcoming multifamily projects while laying the foundation for the future of our construction division. This position requires a rare blend of hands‑on leadership , sharp project management skills, and long‑term vision .
You will be directly responsible for managing budgets, subcontractors, and schedules while also planning and building out the systems and teams that will support future developments. You won’t be managing from behind a desk — you’ll be in the trenches when needed, setting the tone for the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Initial Projects : Manage the day‑to‑day execution of all current and upcoming multifamily / single family home projects. Oversee budgeting, preparing budgets, scheduling, subcontractor hiring / management, site visits, and overall project delivery.
- Budget & Scheduling : Develop, track, and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reports to ensure profitability and timely completion.
- Hands‑On Leadership : Roll up your sleeves and lead from the field — this is not a desk‑only role.
- Team Management : Supervise and hire superintendents, subcontractors, and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and safety.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Relations : Select, contract, and oversee subcontractors; negotiate contracts; ensure scope, quality, and compliance.
- Safety Leadership : Enforce safety programs and OSHA compliance across job sites.
- Plan Future Jobs : Take ownership of budgeting, planning, and bidding for all upcoming projects. From land acquisition to final completion, you’ll be involved in every phase.
- Ensure Quality & Compliance : Monitor jobsite safety, quality, and adherence to Georgia building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate : Work closely with ownership, architects, engineers, vendors, and community stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving : Proactively identify potential risks, conflicts, or delays and implement effective solutions.
- Reporting : Prepare and present regular project status updates to executives and stakeholders.
- Manage and lead all renovation projects on other assets MGVG owns such as single family homes, golf course, and other assets acquired
Qualifications
7–10+ years of proven experience managing multifamily apartment and residential housing projects. MIN of 5 years multifamily project managementStrong track record of leading projects from start to finish — including budgeting, hiring / managing subcontractors, and meeting schedules.Hands‑on mentality paired with the ability to delegate and manage others.Knowledge of Georgia building codes, permitting, and regulations.Proficiency with project management software and construction reporting tools.Must live within 60 miles of Moultrie, GA and be willing to travel to project sites across Georgia 2-4 days per week.Background screening required and drug testingFlexibility to work weekends / nights as needed.The Right Candidate Has Three Mindsets
