The NGA Foundation is the nonprofit arm of NGA dedicated to cultivating and strengthening the independent grocery industrys workforce. Through resources, educational opportunities, and building networks the Foundation empowers the next generation of grocery professionals while supporting current industry leaders. By investing in talent, fostering innovation, and promoting career growth, the NGA Foundation ensures that independent grocers remain vital pillars of the communities they serve.
Position Summary
The NGA Foundation is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee the data and processes of a portfolio of food access grants. These grants provide technical assistance on nutrition incentive projects (GusNIP), SNAP Online (SEMTAC), and the Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI). The Grants Manager will be responsible for handling grant data and reporting, managing a team of consultant subject matter experts, and ensuring that grant and overall Foundation processes are aligned. They will build relationships with funders and a diverse set of partners to ensure the success of the work. If in the DC area this role is hybrid, reporting to the office three days a week but role is open to remote individuals. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated and flexible, with experience managing deliverables across multiple projects, enhancing database workflows and supporting budget and excel management.
